Information on the integration between RMS and PriceLabs, including how to activate the module and request the API credentials needed to complete the connection.
Overview
PriceLabs is a third-party revenue management and dynamic pricing partner that connects to RMS via the RMS REST API to automate rate adjustments based on the property's availability, rate, and reservation data.
This is a REST API partner integration, which means PriceLabs owns and operates the integration on their side. Once the PriceLabs module has been activated in RMS and the RMS Client ID and Webservice Password have been provided, PriceLabs uses those credentials to establish the connection from their platform and to manage the ongoing flow of data with RMS.
Properties continue to manage reservations, guests, and day-to-day operations within RMS while PriceLabs handles dynamic pricing in the background.
Before you begin
Before connecting PriceLabs, make sure you have an active or planned subscription with PriceLabs, access in RMS to activate modules from the Module Market, and the ability to Submit a Support Ticket to RMS Customer Support.
How to Connect PriceLabs
-
Activate the PriceLabs Integration Module
Go to the Module Market and activate the PriceLabs integration module. -
Request API Credentials
Once the module has been activated, Submit a Support Ticket to the RMS Customer Support team to request the following:- RMS Client ID
- Webservice Password
-
Complete Setup
Provide the credentials to the PriceLabs team to complete configuration and testing in the PriceLabs platform.
Things to Be Aware Of
- The PriceLabs module must be activated on each property that needs to connect. New properties added later require their own module activation.
- The RMS Client ID and Webservice Password are shared with PriceLabs as part of setup. Treat these credentials as sensitive and request them through a support ticket rather than sharing them via other channels.
- Because PriceLabs writes rates back into RMS through the REST API, manual rate changes made directly in RMS for dates that PriceLabs is managing may be overwritten by the next PriceLabs update.
- Configuration of the integration, supported features, pricing rules, and ongoing optimisation are handled inside the PriceLabs platform. For anything beyond activation and credentials on the RMS side, work with the PriceLabs team directly.
Help & Support
For activation issues on the RMS side, or if the PriceLabs module is not visible in the Module Market, Submit a Support Ticket through the RMS Help Centre.
For all PriceLabs-specific topics, including onboarding, demonstrations, product features, pricing rules, listing imports, and rate refresh behaviour, contact PriceLabs directly.
