Overview
SmartParks Flow provides Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) for caravan and holiday parks, helping properties manage vehicle access for guests more efficiently. Once activated in RMS, the SmartParks Flow team uses the supplied RMS Client ID and Webservice Password to establish the connection from their side and configure data flow between the two systems.
When connected with RMS, SmartParks Flow uses reservation details to manage entry and exit through electronic gates, ensuring only authorised guests can access your property.
Before you begin
Before connecting SmartParks Flow, make sure you have an active or planned subscription with SmartParks Flow, access in RMS to activate modules from the Module Market and submit a support ticket to RMS Customer Support.
Supported Functionality
With this integration, properties can manage guest vehicle access using information already stored in RMS:
- Reservation based access: Uses guest names, check-in and departure times, and reservation status to manage gate access.
- Boomgate control: Gates are automatically opened when an authorised vehicle is detected.
- Guest PINs & vehicle registration (rego) access: Guests can be assigned PINs and ANPR access to the property for a smooth check-in experience.
- In-house and arriving status updates: Automatically tracks when guests are checked in or arriving at the property.
- Auto check-in (optional): Properties can enable auto check-in to streamline the guest arrival process.

RMS Setup Requirements
To enable the SmartParks Flow ANPR integration, your property must:
- Have the supported gate access hardware installed (contact SmartParks for more information)
- Commission the hardware with SmartParks Flow Cloud
- Enable the ANPR module within RMS to allow guest reservations to be linked to gate access
Once these steps are complete, your property can start using SmartParks Flow to assign PINs and ANPR access to guests automatically.
For example, when a guest arrives at the property, SmartParks Flow can use live RMS reservation data to manage entry and on-site flow against the reservation.
How to Connect SmartParks Flow
Activate SmartParks Flow Integration Module
Go to the Module Market and activate the SmartParks Flow integration module.-
Request API Credentials
Once the module has been activated, submit a support ticket to the RMS Customer Support team to request the following:RMS Client ID
Webservice Password
Complete Setup
Provide the credentials to the SmartParks Flow team to complete configuration and testing.
