Once activated in RMS, the Sadie AI team uses the supplied RMS Client ID and Webservice Password to establish the connection from their side and configure data flow between the two systems.
Sadie handles guest calls and messages around the clock, helping convert enquiries into direct reservations while reducing front desk workload.
When integrated with RMS, Sadie securely connects via the RMS REST API to access live availability, rates, guest profiles, reservations, and property information. This enables Sadie to provide accurate, real‑time responses and perform supported reservation workflows directly within RMS.

Payment Gateway Support – Overview
Sadie supports payment functionality through RMS, with the level of support depending on the payment gateway configured for the property.
RMS Pay
When RMS Pay is used as the payment gateway, Sadie provides full payment functionality, including:
- Payment tokenization
- Processing charges
This allows payment details to be securely stored and transactions to be processed directly through Sadie.
Other Supported Gateways
For other RMS-supported payment gateways, Sadie currently supports tokenization only.
This process works as follows:
- A secure payment link is generated and sent to the guest
- The guest enters their payment details through the secure form
- A payment token is returned and stored on the guest record in RMS
Sadie does not process charges for these gateways. Charging must be performed within RMS.
RMS Vault (No Payment Gateway Configured)
If no payment gateway is configured in RMS, Sadie can use the RMS Vault to securely collect and store credit card details.
In this scenario:
- Credit card details are securely captured and stored in the RMS Vault
- The details can then be retrieved for standalone payment processing outside of RMS.
These credentials allow Sadie AI to access approved RMS REST API endpoints securely.

To enable the Sadie AI integration, the following must be configured in RMS:
- The property must be active in RMS Cloud
- Guest profiles and reservations must be enabled
- A Travel Agent record named Sadie AI must be created
- Appropriate Rate Types must be assigned to the Sadie AI Travel Agent so Sadie can quote and book approved rates
