This article describes the Dwelling Configuration report, which shows the Dwelling attributes - Type, Length, and Slide - configured against each Area in a property.
Overview
The Dwelling Configuration report displays how Dwelling attributes are assigned to Categories or Areas across a property.
These attributes define the physical characteristics of caravan, motorhome, and RV sites, including the type of vehicle the site accommodates, the maximum vehicle length, and whether the site has clearance for a vehicle's slide-out extension. The report helps property managers audit and verify Dwelling setup across Categories and Areas.
Dwelling Type and Dwelling Length values are defined in Lookup Tables under Setup. Dwelling Slide options are fixed and do not require Lookup Table configuration.
Use Cases
- Site configuration audit - review which Dwelling Type, Length, and Slide attributes are assigned to each Area before peak season bookings open.
- Troubleshooting booking restrictions - check whether a specific Area has Dwelling attributes that may be preventing a reservation for a particular vehicle size or type.
- Post-setup verification - confirm that Dwelling attributes have been applied consistently after initial property configuration or following changes in Lookup Tables.
How to Access
Go to Reports > Daily > Dwelling Configuration.
Report Options
The report options below control the data set and the grouping shown on the report. Additional options are available by clicking More Options on the report panel.

Column Headers
The columns below appear on the report output. An Area appears on multiple rows if multiple Dwelling attribute values are configured for it.

Data Sources & Calculations
Dwelling Type and Dwelling Length
Dwelling Type and Dwelling Length are property-defined values configured under Setup > Lookup Tables.
Each lookup entry represents a vehicle classification (Dwelling Type) or a maximum vehicle length (Dwelling Length) that can be assigned to a Category or Area. Properties that do not use Dwelling attributes will have empty Lookup Table entries for these fields, and the corresponding report filters will appear blank.
Dwelling Slide
Dwelling Slide describes whether a site has clearance for a vehicle's slide-out extension, and on which side.
Unlike Dwelling Type and Dwelling Length, the Dwelling Slide options are fixed in RMS and do not require Lookup Table setup.
The five options are: None, Passenger, Driver, Driver And Passenger, and Rear.
