Dwelling fields are used for managing portable accommodations booked onto areas with the category classification of 'Site' including caravans, campervans, RVs and tents. Area dwelling options determine the dwelling length, dwelling type and dwelling slide that can be accommodated in the rental area.
When a dwelling length and dwelling type is applied to a guest profile, a warning will display if the rental category selected does not match the allocated dwelling options. Users can be granted access to override the warning in security profiles.
Dwelling length and dwelling type are user defineable lists whilst the dwelling slide options are system generated. The dwelling slide will include the option of 'None' if the field is set as mandatory for the guest details in field maintenance. The dwelling slide can be added as a search option on the RMS Internet Booking Engine (IBE) with the dwelling length and dwelling type displaying automatically if allocated to a category that is available online. The dwelling length and dwelling type can be set as a mandatory search options for the RMS Internet Booking Engine.

Dwelling Options Area Activation
- Proceed to Property Options > Property Information.
- Select the
'Edit' icon aligned with the property.
3. Navigate to the Options menu.
4. Confirm that 'Set Dwelling options at the Category Level' is NOT selected.
5. Choose the 'Save & Exit' icon.

Important Information! Dwelling Options will be assigned at an Area Level when the option is not selected. |
Area Dwelling Options Allocation
- Navigate to Setup > Category/Area.
- Select the 'Edit' icon aligned with a category.
3. Navigate to the 'Area' menu.
4. Highlight an area.
5. Select the 'Edit' icon.
6. Navigate to the 'Dwelling Options' menu.
7. Select one or multiple available Dwelling Lengths and choose the 'allocate' 
icon.
8. Select one or multiple available Dwelling Types and choose the 'allocate' icon.
9. Optional: Select one or multiple Dwelling Slides and choose the 'allocate' 
icon.
10. Choose the 'Save & Exit' icon.
Repeat these steps for all areas in a category with a 'Site' classification.

Please Note: When creating reservations, guests will only be booked into areas where the dwelling options on the guest profile are listed in the allocated column of the area. |
