Additionals are used to automatically calculate the cost of additional guests on a reservation as part of the rate calculation within the rate table setup.
The Additionals Discount will not charge for additional guests beyond the set value.

Additionals Discount Configuration
- Navigate to Setup > Accounting > Discounts.
- Select the 'Add' icon.
- Enter a Description.
- Select the General Ledger Account Code Option.
- Optional: Select a Grouping.
- Optional: Enter Length of Stay Restrictions.
- Select the 'Additionals' Discount Type.
- Check the box next to the Additionals charge(s) the discount applies to.
- Enter the Number of Additionals that must be paid before the discount applies.
- Optional: Check the box for 'Use as RMS Online Promotion'.
- Select the 'Save' icon.
- Select Include or Exclude for discount access within the security profiles.
- Choose the 'Apply' icon.
- Optional: Select the applicable Property and/or Categories.
- Optional: Configure Validation Options.
- Select the 'Save & Exit' icon.
⚠ Important: If Property/Category and Validation Options are not set, the discount will automatically be available for all rental types on any date.
