This article describes the Reservation Position Forecast report, which shows the availability position of accommodation categories for a selected date range.
Overview
The Reservation Position Forecast report shows how many areas in each Category that is configured with an Accommodation classification are available, inhouse, Out of Order, and expecting departures for one or more dates.
Use this report to check your property's availability position on upcoming dates and to plan ahead for high-demand periods.
The report is available as a PDF or CSV export.
How to access
Go to Reports > Management > Statistics > Reservation Position Forecast.
Report options
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Reservation Between | The date range for the forecast. Defaults to today. |
| Category | The accommodation categories to include. All categories are selected by default. Deselect categories to narrow results to specific accommodation types. |
| Detailed / Summary | How results are displayed. Detailed shows a breakdown for each category on each date. Summary shows a total per day. |
| Reports On |
Determines which reservation types are counted in the Inhouse Areas total. Choose from:

Report Columns
The report groups results by date. For each date, it lists each accommodation category with the following metrics:

|---|---|
| Total Areas | The total number of areas in the category. |
| Maintenance Areas | Areas currently blocked for maintenance. |
| Inhouse Areas | Areas occupied by reservations matching the selected Reports On criteria. |
| Exp. Departure Areas | Areas where guests are expected to depart on this date. |
| Available Areas | Areas available for new reservations. |
