This article describes the Reservation Register report, which shows a month-at-a-glance grid of which reservation occupies each Area on each day, with an occupancy percentage for each Area.
Overview
The Reservation Register report lists every Area down the page and every day of the selected month across the top. Each cell shows the reservation occupying that Area on that day (the start of the guest's surname), and a blank cell means the Area is vacant.
An Occupancy column on the right shows each Area's occupancy for the month. Front office and operations staff use it as a month-at-a-glance register of which Areas are booked, and when.
Use Cases
- Month at a glance - the duty manager reviews which Areas are booked on which days across the whole month in one grid.
- Find vacant days - operations scans an Area's row for blank cells to spot gaps available to sell.
- Per-Area occupancy - the revenue manager reads the Occupancy column to see how well each Area performed for the month.

Column Headers
One row is listed for each Area. The columns run across the selected month, with an Occupancy column on the right.
| Column | Description | Source / Calculation |
|---|---|---|
| Area | Each Area is listed as a row (grouped under its Category when Group By is set to Category). | The property's configured Areas. |
| Day columns (one per day) | One column for each day of the month, headed by the day of the week and the date. The cell shows the start of the surname of the guest occupying that Area on that day; a blank cell means the Area is vacant. | Reservations occupying the Area on each date. |
| Occupancy | The Area's occupancy percentage for the month. | Days occupied ÷ days in the month. See Data Sources & Calculations. |
Data Sources & Calculations
Each day cell is populated from the reservation occupying the Area on that date. The Occupancy percentage is the number of days the Area is occupied in the month divided by the number of days in the month - for example, an Area booked on 4 days of a 30-day month shows 13.33%, and an Area booked every day shows 100%. For more on how occupancy is derived, see the Occupancy Calculation Rule.
