This article describes the Transit Occupancy report, which shows arrivals, departures and a length-of-stay breakdown by accommodation category for a selected date range.
Overview
The Transit Occupancy report shows how many reservations arrived and departed for each accommodation category within a selected period, along with a breakdown of how long those guests stayed. Results are grouped by property and category.

Use Cases
Use this report to:
- Understand the mix of short-stay and long-stay guests across different accommodation types
- Identify which categories attract predominantly one-night guests versus extended stays
- Support revenue and capacity planning decisions based on historical stay-length patterns
How to access
Go to Reports > Management > Statistics > Transit Occupancy.
Report Options
★ Tip: Report build screens default to a common use configuration, and selections can be made as required.

| Date | The date range to include in the report. Reservations with arrivals or departures within this period are counted. | Today |
| Category | The accommodation categories to include. Select individual categories or use Select all to include every category. | All categories selected |
Report Columns
Results are grouped by property, then by category. Each category row shows the number of reservations that arrived and departed during the selected period, and how many guests stayed for each length of stay.

|---|---|
| Category | The accommodation category name. Rows are grouped under the property name. |
| Arrivals | The number of reservations that arrived during the selected date range. |
| Departures | The number of reservations that departed during the selected date range. |
| 1 Nights | The number of reservations with a stay length of exactly 1 night. |
| 2 Nights | The number of reservations with a stay length of exactly 2 nights. |
| 3 Nights | The number of reservations with a stay length of exactly 3 nights. |
| 4 Nights | The number of reservations with a stay length of exactly 4 nights. |
| 5 Nights | The number of reservations with a stay length of exactly 5 nights. |
| 6 Nights | The number of reservations with a stay length of exactly 6 nights. |
| 7 Nights | The number of reservations with a stay length of exactly 7 nights. |
| Over 7 Nights | The number of reservations with a stay length of more than 7 nights. |
