This article describes the Occupancy Report grouped by Person, which shows a daily headcount of guests by Adult, Children, and Infant for the selected period.
Overview
The Occupancy Report grouped by Person shows one row per day with the count of Areas in use and the breakdown of guests by Adult, Children, and Infant. Unlike the other Occupancy By variants, this layout focuses on people-counts for capacity and operational planning, and does not include revenue, RevPAR, or Occ % columns.

Use Cases
- Daily catering and housekeeping headcount - the duty manager runs the report for the upcoming week to plan meal counts, housekeeping staff levels, and amenity stocking based on the projected guest count by day.
- Facility capacity planning - when planning shared facilities (pool, restaurant, shuttle bus), the operations team uses the daily Total headcount to anticipate peak-load days.
- Compliance and licensing reporting - properties with guest-count licensing requirements (for example, fire-safety maximum occupancy or local-authority registration counts) use the daily Adult / Children / Infant breakdown for compliance records.
How to Access
In the side menu of RMS, go to Reports > Management > Statistics > Occupancy. On the Report Options panel set Occupancy By to Person. Select Build.
Column Headers
The columns below appear on the report output when Occupancy By is set to Person. This layout is structured by date (one row per day) rather than by grouping, and does not include the revenue or capacity columns shown on other variants.
