This article describes the Occupancy Report grouped by No Group, which collapses the report into a single Summary row covering the whole property for the selected period.
Overview
The Occupancy Report grouped by No Group shows the same column set as the Category layout but collapses every Category into a single Summary row. Use this layout when you want the property-wide totals for the selected period without the per-Category breakdown.
For the full description of the report, the report options panel, the Data Sources & Calculations that govern shared columns, and how the Operational Revenue model differs from Financial Revenue, see the main Occupancy Report article.
Use Cases
- Daily property-wide snapshot - the duty manager runs the report at the start of shift with Occupancy By set to No Group to see today's overall occupancy and revenue for the property as a single line, without per-Category detail.
- Period summary for leadership - the General Manager runs the report for a month or season to get a single Summary row with property-wide RevPAR, Occ %, Gross / Nett Revenue, and Avg LOS for a board update or executive report.
- Comparing to budget - when comparing the property's actual occupancy and revenue against a budget or forecast figure, the No Group Summary row provides a clean total for the period without needing to sum per-Category rows manually.
How to Access
In the side menu of RMS, go to Reports > Management > Statistics > Occupancy. On the Report Options panel set Occupancy By to No Group. Select Build.
