Overview
Company Requirements allow predefined items or services to be automatically applied to a reservation when the reservation is created with the Company attached.
A Company is a business that can be added and used in RMS for reservations, Accounts Receivable and the Corporate Portal.
Requirements are extra items or services that can be added to and tracked on a reservation.
✎ Please Note: Company Requirements are only applied to new reservations created with the Company attached. If you add or change the Company on an existing reservation, the Company's Requirements are not added automatically. To add them, edit the reservation's Requirement / Trace tab manually.

Below outlines the functionality of Requirement options:
- Same Day Requirement: Same day requirements default for the arrival date only.
- Monitor this Requirement: Monitored requirements are same day requirements that allow a user to mark the requirement as completed.
- Appears on Housekeepers Report: If you would like the requirement to appear on the housekeepers report, check the box.
- Daily Requirement: A daily requirement will apply to every date within the reservation.
- Guest Facing Requirement: A guest facing requirement is used to limit the requirements a guest sees on correspondence sent using any of the 'Guest Facing Requirements' merge fields in form letters.
- Create on Reservation Creation: A Requirement can be automatically posted to the account when the reservation is created by selecting the 'Create on Reservation Creation' option. If this option is Not selected, the Requirement Charge will post to the when the reservation is checked in.
Guide
In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Company.
- Select 'Edit' on an existing Company.
- Navigate to the 'Requirements/Trace' tab.
- Select 'Add'.
- Select 'Add Requirement'.
- Select the Requirement.
- Add a Description.
Select additional options if required (Optional).
