Change the access level for a user in RMS.

Overview

The level of access a user has to features and functions in RMS is known as a Security Profile. 

A Security Profile will need to be created before it can be assigned to a user.  

A user can have multiple Security Profiles and Properties assigned to them, allowing them different levels of access to different properties.

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Users > User Information.

1. Select Edit on an existing User Profile.
   
    
2. Navigate to the Profiles tab.
3. Select Add.
   
    
4. Select a Security Profile.
   1. Change the Property if needed.
   2. Change the Categories if needed.

5. Select Save/Exit.
   

   ★ Tip: The user will now have 2 Security Profiles associated to their User Profile. This could be handy if a User is a manager at one property but helps out at a second property and requires a different Security Profile for that property.
6. (Optional) Select the old Security Profile.
7. (Optional) Select Delete and confirm.
8. Select Save/Exit.
   

This user will have the new access level the next time they log into RMS 9+.
