This article describes the Rate Table List report, which lists your configured Rate Tables and the rate values and settings saved on each one.
Overview
The Rate Table List report produces a printable list of the Rate Tables set up in RMS, showing the rate amounts and key settings each one holds. The values are the settings saved on each Rate Table: Rate Periods, Rate Manager overrides and Dynamic Pricing are not applied.
It can be produced for the Nightly, Daily, or Hourly rate Format, and the report heading changes to match (for example Nightly Rate Table List). Revenue and reservations staff typically run it to review or audit rate setup across the property in one place, rather than opening each Rate Table individually.

Use Cases
- Audit rate setup before a season - the Revenue Manager lists every Nightly Rate Table to review the day-by-day rates and weekly totals in one place.
- Check guest and deposit settings - Reservations reviews the base and additional-guest charges and the deposit values configured across Rate Tables.
- Spot inconsistencies - an operator scans the list to find Rate Tables where a day of the week or a setting differs from the rest.
How to Access
In the side menu of RMS, go to Reports > Management > Reservations > Rate Table List.
Report Options
The report options control which rate Format is listed, and the date printed under the report title.
Tip! Report build screens default to a common use configuration, and selections can be made as required.

Column Headers
One row is listed for each Rate Table, in alphabetical order. The columns below appear on the Nightly and Daily lists - the Daily list uses the same layout and the same column headings. The Hourly list uses a different layout, described under Daily and Hourly Variants below.

Daily and Hourly Variants
Selecting Daily lists the Daily-format Rate Tables using the same columns as the Nightly list above, including the Mon to Sun and After 7th headings. What each column holds still depends on the Rate Table's Based On setting.
Selecting Hourly lists the Hourly-format Rate Tables using a different layout: Description, the rate for each hour (1st to 10th), After 10th (always 0.00: the Rate Table's After 10 Hours rate is not shown), Days To Return (always 0.00), Dep $, Dep %, and Sundries. The per-day, Weekly Rate, and additional-guest columns do not appear on the Hourly list.
Data Sources & Calculations
The Mon to Sun Rate Columns
The Mon to Sun columns show the seven rate amounts saved on each Rate Table, and the headings always read Mon to Sun. On a Rate Table based on Night of Week, they are the rates for each day of the week. On a Rate Table based on a number of nights or days, for example Per Night or No of Nights, the seven columns hold the Rate Table's first to seventh rate amounts in order, even though the headings still read Mon to Sun. On a Per Person Rate Table, the columns show the adult rates only. See Daily Rate Table: Day of the Week.
Weekly Rate
The Weekly Rate is the total of the seven daily rates for the week. For a Rate Table with a flat nightly rate of 250, the Weekly Rate is 1,750 (250 × 7). The After 7th amount is not included, and on a Per Person Rate Table only the adult rates are added.
Base and additional guests
The Base columns show the Person Base - the number of Adults and Children included in the rate before additional-guest charges apply. The Extra columns show the price charged for each additional Adult or Child beyond the base. Where a Rate Table sets separate prices for the first to fourth additional guests, the Extra columns show the price for guests after them, not those tiered prices. Please Note! The screenshot above shows the Nightly list. The Daily list uses the same columns; the Hourly list uses hour-based columns instead, as described under Daily and Hourly Variants.
Columns With Fixed Values
Some columns on the Rate Table List report are not linked to a Rate Table setting and always show the same value:
- On the Nightly and Daily lists: 7th Discount (0.00), Days To Return (0.00) and Discount Extras (No).
- On the Hourly list: After 10th (0.00) and Days To Return (0.00).
To check a Rate Table's X Nights Discount or its After 10 Hours rate, open the Rate Table itself.
Which Rate Tables Are Listed
The Rate Table List report lists every Rate Table of the selected Format, in alphabetical order. This includes inactive Rate Tables, which are not marked as inactive. On a database with more than one property, the Rate Tables of every property appear in one list.
Extended Stay Rate Tables are never listed, because the report offers only Nightly, Daily and Hourly. The report has no grouping, subtotals or grand total.
