This guide explains how to restrict access to a Rate Type in a Security Profile, for example so that the rates sent to Online Travel Agents are not sold In-House by mistake.

The Rates that you are sending to the Online Travel Agents (OTA), you may want to restrict access to them so they are not accidentally sold In-House.

Please note that you may not have access to Security Profiles if the Security Profile that is assigned to you restricts your access to it. You may have to get someone with access to change this for you or to give you access.

To remove a Rate Type from a Security Profile:

In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Users > Security Profiles.

1. Select Edit for the required Security Profile.
   
    
2. Navigate to the Rate Type tab.
3. Select the required Rate Type.
4. Select the single ' < ' button to move the Rate Type to "No Access" 
5. Select Save/Exit.
   

Repeat these steps for any other Security Profiles you wish to remove access to these rates.
