How to override the Base Rate on a sibling reservation within a Master Reservation.
Overview
A Master Reservation is a group of reservations for guests travelling together, linked by a Master name and reservation number.
An existing Master reservation can be managed using the Master management tools available on the Master cover page of a Master Reservation, which includes a Master account, charge routing, an area list, and other management tools.
★ Tip: Properties using the Rate Creation Method of 'Total Rate' or reservations where the 'Create Total Rate' option has been set to 'Yes' will enter the Total Base Rate for the full length of the reservation instead of the Nightly Base Rate.
★ Tip: The recommended method to override a rate on a reservation is to open the Total Rate/Tariff Breakdown screen and override the Base Rate per stay date. Overriding at the Base Rate element (rather than the Total Rate) preserves the inclusive package calculation, so future updates to the package setup continue to recalculate correctly on this reservation.

Guide
Open the Reservation in RMS.
- Select a Sibling Reservation in the Navigator.
- Select the Base Rate.
- Enter the new Base Rate.

Select 'Save/Exit'.
