Master Reservation Charge Transfer

How to Transfer Charges from a Master Reservation to another Account in RMS.

 

Overview

Charge transactions can be transferred from a Sibling reservation account to the Master Reservation account.

The Master reservation account and the Rate on Master option can be used to create a consolidated Tax Invoice for all charges related to the Master Reservation.

★ Tip: Sundry Packages cannot be transferred between accounts.  To transfer a Sundry Package, void the transaction and recreate it on the required account.

Guide

Open the Reservation in RMS.

  1. Navigate to a Sibling Reservation.
  2. Select the Account Type.

  3. Select 'Transfer'.
  4. Select 'Charge Transfer'.

  5. Select the checkbox for the Charges.
  6. Search for Destination Account.
  7. Select the Destination Account.
  8. Select 'Transfer'.

  9. Select 'Yes' to confirm.
