The number of days in the past that the Arrive Date on a reservation can be set to is determined by the Property's setup.
Overview
The Arrive Date on a new Reservation or a Departed Reservation being reverted back to 'Unconfirmed' status will be limited by this option.
Limiting the number of days in the past during which a reservation can be created or reverted to 'Unconfirmed' status provides a safeguard for user error.
Guide
In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Property Options > General Information.
- Navigate to the Reservation Options tab.
- Enter a value in the option No. of Days in the past to allow Reservation.
- Select Save/Exit.
Example Error
If Users encounter a message indicating that a reservation cannot be created for a past date, it may be due to the system’s 'No. of Days in the Past to Allow Reservation' setting.
To resolve this, Users with the appropriate permissions can edit the setting to increase the number of allowable past days, enabling the reservation to be saved as needed.
