Default Reservation Status

Set the Default Reservation status, which will apply to all new Reservations when created.

 

Overview

The default Reservation Status will be the status used for all new Reservations in RMS.

Selecting a default status of 'Unconfirmed' can be used to indicate reservations where no pre-payment or deposit has been obtained to secure the booking. 

The default Reservation Status of 'Unconfirmed' enables converting reservations to 'Quote' status.

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Property Options > General Information.

  1. Navigate to the Reservation Defaults tab.
  2. Select the Default Reservation Status.
  3. Select Save/Exit.

✎ Please Note: To apply the updated configuration, Users must log out of RMS and then log back in. This ensures the changes are properly refreshed and reflected in the database.
