The Projected Forecast Report shows projected occupancy and Operational Revenue for the months or dates ahead.
Overview
The Projected Forecast Report provides a forecast of projected Operational Revenue in RMS.
The Projected Forecast by Month for the current date will display the projected accommodation revenue for the remainder of the current month plus the next six months.
The Projected Forecast Report includes the following information:
• Occupied Nights
• Occupancy Percentage
• Accommodation Revenue
• Average Room Rate

Use Cases
- Forecast upcoming revenue - Run by month to project accommodation revenue for the rest of the current month plus the next six months.
- Plan for a specific period - Run by date range to forecast occupancy and revenue for a chosen window.
- Compare against actuals - Use alongside the History & Forecast and Occupancy reports to compare projected figures with actual performance.
Report Options
The options below appear on the Projected Forecast Report parameter panel. Additional options are available by clicking More Options.

| Group 1 | Dropdown | Sets the primary grouping of the results. Options include None, Property, Property State, Category and Category Grouping. |
| Group 2 | Dropdown | Sets the secondary grouping of the results. Options include None, Property, Category and Category Grouping. |
| Property | Multi-select | For multi-property (Enterprise) databases. Limits the report to the selected Properties. |
| Category | Multi-select | Limits the report to the selected Categories. |
How to Access
In the side menu of RMS, go to Reports > Management > Statistics > Projected Forecast.
- Select the Date option.
(Optional) Select More Options for additional report settings. - Select Build.
Tip! Select the favourite icon to mark this Report as a Favourite Report for quick access via the Favourite Reports Menu.
Column Headers
The Projected Forecast Report includes the following columns.

| Occupied Nights | Projected number of occupied Area nights for the period. |
| Occupancy Percentage | Projected occupancy percentage for the period. |
| Accommodation Revenue | Projected Operational (accommodation) revenue, based on the General Ledger Account Code setup. |
| Average Room Rate | Projected Accommodation Revenue divided by Occupied Nights. |
