Information on using the DTCM (Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing) report in RMS.
Overview
The DTCM report provides a summary of guest statistics grouped by country or nationality for a selected date range, designed to support compliance reporting for the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing.
The DTCM report groups guests by either their country or nationality and shows the number of primary and secondary guests, total reservations, rooms sold, guest nights, and accommodation revenue for each group.
Use Cases
- Regulatory compliance reporting - generate guest nationality statistics required for submission to the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM).
- Guest origin analysis - review the breakdown of guests by country or nationality to understand property demand by market.
- Revenue by market - compare accommodation revenue across different guest origin markets within a date range.
How to Access
In the side menu of RMS, go to Reports > Management > Guests > DTCM.
Report Options
The report options below control the date range, grouping, and output format of the report.

| Date Criteria | Radio | Reservation Stay Between | Controls how the date range is applied. Reservation Stay Between includes any reservation with at least one night falling within the date range. Reservation Arrive Between includes only reservations with an arrival date within the date range. |
| Report By | Dropdown | Country | Groups results by either the guest's Country or Nationality. The column header in the report output changes to match the selected option. |

Sets how Area statistics are calculated. Options:

| Group By Property | Checkbox | Unchecked | When checked, results are grouped and subtotalled by property. Applies to multi-property databases. |
| Show Report Definitions on Report Layout | Checkbox | Checked | When checked, appends a definitions section to the end of the report output. The definitions section explains how each column value is calculated. |
| Property | Multi-select | All selected | The properties to include in the report. Visible on multi-property databases. |
Report Columns
Each row in the report represents one country or nationality, depending on the Report By option selected.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Country | The guest's country or nationality. The column header changes to Nationality when Report By is set to Nationality. |
| Primary Guest Count | The number of primary guests from that country or nationality. The primary guest is the main guest attached to the reservation, marked as Primary. |
| Sec. Guest Count | The count of additional (secondary) guests attached to reservations, from that country or nationality. |
| No Of Guest | The total of the Primary Guest Count and the Secondary Guest Count. |
| Guest % | The percentage of total guests represented by that country or nationality. |
| No Of Res | The number of reservations from that country or nationality. |
| Res % | The percentage of total reservations represented by that country or nationality. |
| Rooms Sold | The number of room nights sold in the date range for that country or nationality. Includes Day Use reservations if the Day Use option is active under Property Setup. |
| Guest Night | No of Guests multiplied by Rooms Sold. |
| Accom Rev | Charges linked to a GL Code that has been flagged as Include in Accommodation Revenue. |
| Accom Rev % | The percentage of total accommodation revenue represented by that country or nationality. |
