How to add Landing Ports in RMS.

Overview

Landing Port is a field that can be activated to record the port or airport through which a guest arrived.

The selection made will be stored on the Guest Profile and will automatically carry over to future reservations, as long as the same guest profile is used.

Landing Port is a mandatory requirement for properties operating in the UAE, as part of compliance with government regulations for the Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) Guest Arrival Details statutory report.

The Landing Port field is available for use by properties globally.

By using Field Maintenance to activate the Landing Port field, it can then be made available on the Reservation screen, Guest Portal and Corporate Portal.

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Lookup Tables > Landing Port.

1. Select Add.
   
    
2. Enter the Description.
3. Enter the Short Description.
   (Optional) Enter the Code.
4. Select Save/Exit.
   (Repeat steps 1-4 for all required Landing Ports).
