This article describes the Travel Agent Performance Report, which shows how each travel agent - including online channels and traditional agents - is performing across reservations, revenue, and commission for a selected date range.
Overview
The Travel Agent Performance Report shows a breakdown of reservation activity and revenue by Travel Agent for a selected date range. Each row represents one travel agent, showing how many reservations they generated, the total guest-nights, average length of stay, revenue contribution, and commission due.
The report covers all travel agents configured in RMS - including Online Travel Agents (OTAs) connected via the Channel Manager (such as Booking.com and Expedia), as well as traditional travel agents, corporate bookers, and any other third-party sources. This makes it a useful complement to the Channel Performance Report, which focuses specifically on online channels.
Use Cases
- Monthly revenue review - at the end of each month, the revenue team runs this report to see which travel agents drove the most bookings and revenue, and what commission is owed across all agents.
- Agent contract review - before renegotiating commission terms with a travel agent, use this report to assess their booking volume, average length of stay, and net revenue contribution over the past year.
- Comparing online and offline channels - filter by specific travel agents or run for all agents to compare how OTA-driven bookings compare to bookings from traditional travel agents and corporate bookers in the same period.

Data Sources and Calculations
Commission
Commission on the Travel Agent Performance Report is derived from the commission terms configured against each Travel Agent record in RMS. Each travel agent can have one or more commission rows set up under their Agent Commission Setup, specifying the commission percentage, how it is collected, and the sundry charge it maps to.
When a reservation is created with a Travel Agent attached, the commission is calculated automatically from these terms and posted to the reservation account. The Commission column on this report is the sum of those calculated commission amounts for all matching reservations.
To review or update a travel agent's commission terms, go to Setup > Travel Agent, open the relevant agent, and review the Agent Commission Setup section.
Gross Revenue and Nett Revenue
Gross Revenue represents the total value of reservations attributed to a travel agent before any commission is deducted. Nett Revenue is the amount the property retains after commission: Gross Revenue minus Commission.
Together these two figures allow you to see both the headline booking value a travel agent is delivering and the actual revenue remaining after paying their commission.
