Overview
Properties can choose to enable rate updates in a different currency via the Channel Manager. When this option is enabled, a Channel Manager connection can be configured to send rate updates in the selected alternate currency.
⚠ Important: To use this feature, alternate currencies must be set up with a Foreign Exchange Rate, and the Rate Table should be configured in the local currency.

Activation
Set up the use of an alternate currency for sending rates through the Channel Manager in RMS.
- Go to Setup > Property Options > General Information.
- Navigate to the 'Features' menu.
- Select the checkbox 'Transfer Rate to channel from local to another currency'.
- Save/Exit.
★ Tip: Log out and log back into RMS to ensure the database updates with the changes you’ve made.
- Edit an Existing Channel or setup a new Channel Manager Connection.
- Select the Alternate Currency for the channel to receive rates from RMS.
- Choose 'Connect' to complete the connection or 'Save' to update the existing connection.
