This guide explains how to link Rate Periods to a Derived Rate in RMS so the Derived Rate is available for those dates.
Overview
Derived Rates determine their pricing from the nominated Master Rate and any adjustments set.
Derived Rates can be setup to follow the availability of the nominated Master Rate or use existing Rate Periods.
Extending the availability of a Derived Rate separately to the nominated Master Rate will require the Derived Rate to be setup to use existing Rate Periods.
Derived Rates setup to 'Use Existing Periods' will only be available for the selected Rate Periods and will not follow the availability of the nominated Master Rate Type.
A new Rate Period is not linked to an existing Derived Rate automatically. After creating a new Rate Period, select it on each Derived Rate set to 'Use Existing Periods' so the Derived Rate is available for the new dates.
Please Note! RMS is highly configurable. Some Terminology, User Access & Permissions, Images, Labels, and Functions used in these articles may differ from your setup. CLICK HERE to find out more.
