How to apply Attributes to Areas in RMS.

Overview

Attributes are features used to filter Properties, Categories, or Areas in RMS and on the RMS Booking Engine.
They can highlight key features like accessibility, special views, or luxury items.

Attributes must be applied to a Property, Category or Area before being available as a search filter.
The Attributes Filter shows only options that match the selected Attributes.

You can also control their sort order on the Interactive Map by starting the description with a number and a space.

Examples

These describe physical or functional features of an Area:

• Ocean view / Mountain view

• Balcony or patio

• King bed / Twin beds

• Kitchenette or full kitchen

• Pet-friendly

• Ground floor / Upper level

• Accessible features (e.g., wheelchair access)

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Category/Area.

1. Select Edit on an existing Category.
   
    
2. Select the Area tab.
3. Select an existing Area.
4. Select Edit.
   
    
5. Select the Attributes tab.
6. Select the Attributes.
7. Select the '>' icon.
8. Select 'Save/Exit'.
