How to integrate RoomPriceGenie with RMS.

Overview

RoomPriceGenie provides industry-leading revenue management solutions for independent hotels, RV parks, bed and breakfasts, serviced apartments, and more across the global hospitality and travel industries.

RoomPriceGenie and RMS seamlessly exchange information, allowing RoomPriceGenie to analyse, optimise, and automatically update rates in RMS.

Automated rate adjustments in RMS occur up to 12 times per day using Genie’s algorithm, which incorporates automated market and occupancy analysis.

The option 'Allow Moving Reservations Across Properties' cannot be used when interfacing with revenue management tools, including RoomPriceGenie.

Setup Guide

Complete the following to setup the RoomPriceGenie interface in RMS.

Step 1 - RoomPriceGenie account

Before you can connect RoomPriceGenie to RMS, you will need a RoomPriceGenie account. 

If you don't have an account with RoomPriceGenie, click HERE to Schedule a Demo and get connected. 

Step 2 - Rates

• RoomPriceGenie will update the Master Rate in RMS. 
  For a rate to be updated by RoomPriceGenie, it must be a Derived Rate from the Master Rate. 
• For optimal results, this Master Rate should be setup with an All-Year-Round Rate Period and a Person Base on the Rate Table that is greater than '0'.

• If you need to manage Minimum Nights/Minimum Length of Stay, configure these as restrictions in the Control Panel rather than using multiple seasonal Rate Periods on the Master Rate.

• The Master Rate to be updated by RoomPriceGenie should not have any Packages added to the Rate Table.
• Additional rates can be setup in RMS using Derived Rates with the 'Based On' selected as the Rate Type to be updated by RoomPriceGenie.
• This ensures any promotional or negotiated rates are automatically adjusted based on the optimisations made by RoomPriceGenie on the Master Rate in RMS.

Step 3 - Activate

To activate RoomPriceGenie, please contact the RMS Sales Team.

Step 4 - Connect

Contact RoomPriceGenie and provide the property's RMS Client ID, Webservices Password, and the Master Rate to be managed by RoomPriceGenie.

RoomPriceGenie is now connected with RMS and will analyse the market and update the Master Rate in RMS based on Genie's unique algorithm.
