This article explains how to turn on Multi BAR in RMS, which lets you preset multiple Price Points for the Best Available Rate.

Overview

Multiple Best Available Rates is an option available in RMS to preset multiple Price Points for the Best Available Rate and toggle between them as needed. 

Multi BAR can be used to simplify seasonal rate setup and streamline ongoing rate adjustments. 

Preset Price Points can be selected for any date range and changed as the needs of the business change.

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Accounting > Accounting Options.

1. Navigate to the Rate & Rent Options tab.
2. Select the checkbox Use Multiple Best Available Rates (BAR).
3. Select Save/Exit.
   

Tip! After saving changes to setup, Users should log out of RMS and then log back in to ensure the database updates and reflects the modifications.

Please Note! If this option is selected before Multi BAR is set up, or before a BAR is set for the dates being booked, rates can show as not available. Set up Multi BAR and set a BAR that covers those dates, or clear this option and log out and back in.
