How to setup a Rate Table with Multi BAR in RMS.

Overview

The Multiple Best Available Rates (Multi BAR) feature in RMS allows you to preset multiple price points for your Best Available Rate and easily toggle between them as needed.

This feature is especially useful for:

• Simplifying seasonal rate setup

• Streamlining ongoing rate adjustments

Price Points can be assigned to any date range and updated at any time based on business needs.

To begin using Multi-BAR, make sure to:

1. Create a Rate Type for each Multi-BAR level

2. Set up a corresponding Rate Lookup for each Rate Table

This ensures each rate is configured correctly and ready for use in your pricing strategy.

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Charts > Rate Manager.

1. Navigate to the Rates icon.
2. Choose Rate Tables.
   
    
3. Select Add.
   
    
4. Enter a unique Description.
5. Choose a Rate Structure.
6. Select a Format.
7. Select a Based On option.
8. Input the Person Base.
9. Enter the Rate Amounts.
10. Complete any additional Rate Components (optional).
11. Select Save/Exit.
