A guide to creating an Event Schedule when using the Event Management module in RMS.
Overview
The Event Management module in RMS enables properties to efficiently manage bookings for event spaces and seamlessly plan, schedule, and execute events such as conferences, weddings, parties, meetings, and more.
An Event Schedule is a detailed itinerary outlining the timing and sequence of all activities throughout an event. It can be created for both attendees and event staff, depending on the intended audience.
While similar to an Event Order, the event schedule goes a step further by incorporating back-of-house tasks typically found in a Event Runsheet. This makes it a versatile tool that not only communicates the event flow to guests but also helps the internal team stay organized and on track behind the scenes.
Guide
Open the Reservation in RMS.
- Select 'Event Management'.
- Select 'Reports'.
- Select 'Event Schedule'.
- Select the 'Group By' option.
- Select any required Additional Options.
- Select the required Event Areas.
- Select 'Build'.
