How to create a duplicate of an existing reservation in RMS.

Overview

Copy Reservation enables duplicating an existing reservation with all the guest and reservation details to new stay dates.

Reservation copies include Guest and Reservation Details as well as any Rate Overrides on the Total Rate Breakdown.

Copied Reservations will be assigned a unique Reservation Number and Account Number unless using the option to share the Account between copies.

To use the same Account Number between copied reservations, the option must first be enabled in setup.

Master Reservations have the option of being copied with all existing accounts or only the selected Group Master account.

The reservation cannot be copied if the dates, Category and Area selected are not available.

Guide

Open the Reservation to copy in RMS.

1. Select 'Copy'.
   
    
2. Select the new Arrive and Depart Dates.
   Select a different Area (Optional).
   Select a Company (Optional).
   Select a Travel Agent or Wholesaler (Optional).
   Select the checkbox 'Exclude all departed reservations' (Optional).
   Select the checkbox 'Use Existing Accounts' (Optional).
3. Select 'Copy'.
