POS Lite Sundry Charges are incidental charges that can be used with POS Lite in RMS.

Overview

Sundry Charges are incidental charges that can be used for any charge or credit not covered by Rates or Receipts.

POS Lite is a point of sale system built into the base RMS subscription that can be used to process shop or restaurant sales with an included chargeback feature.

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Accounting > Sundry.

1. Select Add.
   
    
2. Enter a Description.
3. Enter a Unit Price.
4. Enter a Cost Price (Optional).
5. Select a General Ledger Account Code.
6. Select a Tax Option.
7. Select the checkbox 'POS Lite'.
8. Select 'Save/Exit'.
   
    

Barcode Scanner

Each POS Lite Sundry Charge can be configured with a barcode value so that scanning an item while the POS Lite sale screen is open automatically selects the matching Sundry Charge in the Description field. For compatible scanner types and full usage instructions, see Barcode Scanners for POS Lite.

In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Accounting > Sundry.

1. Open the relevant POS Lite Sundry Charge by double-clicking it.
2. Select Barcode Scanner from the left navigation panel inside the Sundry form.
   
    
3. In the Barcode field, enter the barcode value exactly as your scanner outputs it.
4. Optionally, enter an alternative value in the Alt Barcode field if the item uses more than one barcode.
5. Select Save.
