How to activate or deactivate the ability for a POS system to charge back to a Reservation.
Overview
The 'Allow Charge to Area' option enables guests to post charges to their Reservation Account from the RMS POS Lite or a third-party POS system that can read RMS Fields.
A maximum charge limit can also be set and overridden on individual reservations.
For properties using the Alternate/Second Currency functionality, a maximum amount per stay can be set in each currency.
★ Tip: Check with the POS provider if this functionality is compatible with their setup.
✎ Please Note: RMS is highly configurable. Some Terminology, User Access & Permissions, Images, Labels, and Functions used in these articles may differ from your setup. CLICK HERE to find out more.
