Activating and configuring REST API ARI Channel Connection in RMS
Overview
The REST API ARI Channel Connection enables partners to receive pushed notifications from RMS when changes to Availability, Rates, or Inventory (ARI) occur.
This includes a range of integration types such as Channel Managers, Booking Engines, Rate Managers, and other partners who have developed against the RMS REST ARI Push.
The relevant module can be activated in the Module Market in some cases, or by contacting the RMS Sales team in your region.

Guide
Activate Your Integration Module
- Navigate to Module Market.
- Select the Module Type relevant to your integration (e.g. Distribution).
- Search for your integration by name to locate the relevant module.
- Select the Toggle on the module.
- Read the RMS Terms & Conditions.
- Select Activate.
Connect REST API ARI Channel
- Navigate to Setup > Online Bookings > Channel Management.
- Select the Channel Connection Status Unconnected.
- Select your REST API ARI partner and choose Connect.
Configure Connection
- Navigate to the Connection Information tab.
- Enter the Login & Password provided by the partner.
- Select an Availability Option.
- Select Mapping Wizard.
Mapping Setup
- Select the Mapping Method.
- Select the Categories.
- Select Tariff Types.
- Select the Mapping Option.
- Select Finish.
