How to Disconnect an OTA Channel Connection.
Overview
Disconnecting a channel removes the link between RMS and the third party. This article contains information on how to disconnect a channel within RMS.
- Removing the link between RMS and the third party revokes access and stops any information from being passed between RMS and that third party.
- Disconnecting a channel that is receiving rates and availability information from RMS will prevent any further updates.
- Not manually updating rates and availability with the third party after disconnecting the channel in RMS may result in overbookings, as RMS will be unable to send any availability updates to the third party.
