Overview
Recording the arrival and departure of guests at the Property using the Check-in/out feature provides accurate recording of guest movements as well as compliance with any legal or safety requirements.
Selecting to warn Users on check-in if the reservation is in 'Unconfirmed' status can be used as a reminder prompt if no deposit or payment has been taken from the guest prior to arrival.
★ Tip: The 'Status' field must be displayed under Reservation Details in Field Maintenance to use this feature.

Guide
In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Property Options > General Information.
- Navigate to the Reservation Options tab.
- Select Use Check In/Out.
(Optional) Select Warn on Check In if Reservation Unconfirmed.
(Optional) Select Auto Check out on Zero Balance Departure.
(Optional) Select a Form Letter Template for Email Guest on Departure. - Select Save/Exit.
★ Tip: After saving changes to the setup, Users should log out of RMS and then
Log back in to ensure the database updates and reflects the modifications.
