Overview
Recording the arrival and departure of guests at the Property using the Check-in/out feature provides accurate recording of guest movements as well as compliance with any legal or safety requirements.
Selecting to warn Users on check-in if the reservation is in 'Unconfirmed' status can be used as a reminder prompt if no deposit or payment has been taken from the guest prior to arrival.
★ Hint: The 'Status' field must be displayed under Reservation Details in Field Maintenance to use this feature.

Guide
In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Property Options > General Information.
- Navigate to the Reservation Options tab.
- Select Use Check In/Out.
Select Warn on Check In if Reservation Unconfirmed (Optional).
Select Auto Check out on Zero Balance Departure (Optional).
Select a Form Letter Template for Email Guest on Departure (Optional). - Select Save/Exit.
✎ Please note: Ensure Users log out of RMS then back in, to allow the database to update with the changes made.
