How to use Smart Search to find existing Guest Profiles when adding a new Reservation.
Overview
Smart Search is a feature that allows Users to quickly look up existing Guest Profiles using commonly obtained information.
Smart search fields are important because they enhance user experience, improve efficiency, and increase accuracy when searching for guest information. Here’s why they matter:

Faster Results
Smart Search fields show relevant results, saving time by inserting existing guest profiles into new reservations. -
Improved Accuracy
They reduce the chances of typos or incorrect guest information, which can lead to duplicate profiles.
★ Tip: The Post Code field can be used to further filter returned Smart Search results for searches where a User is searching for a common name. The more Smart Search fields completed, the more refined the returned results will be.

Smart Search Fields
Smart Search fields are indicated by the symbol in the field name.
The RMS Smart Search field will search all enabled fields.
The following fields are enabled for Smart Search:
- RMS Smart Search
- Guest Number
- Group Name
- Surname
- Given
- Post Code
- Mobile
