How to add a Contact to a Guest Profile in RMS.
Overview
A Guest Contact is a person added to the Guest Profile for the purpose of correspondence.
A Guest Profile is the record of guest information for a person who has booked or stayed at the property.
The Guest Profile includes the Guest Details as shown on the Reservation Screen with additional information and guest management options.
The 'Contact' and 'Booker Contact' fields can be included on the Reservation Screen using Field Maintenance to select an associated Contact on the reservation.
Contacts can be included as a merge field in Form Letters for tailored correspondence.
The Contact will be available for selection when sending Correspondence from the Guest Profile or a Reservation with this Guest.
Guide
Open the Guest Profile in RMS.
- Navigate to the 'Contacts' tab.
- Select 'Add'.
- Enter the Contact Information.
Select the checkbox 'Emergency Contact' (Optional).
Select a Grouping (Optional).
Select a Relationship (Optional). - Select 'Save/Exit'.
