How to set a Refund Limit?
Overview
A refund limit restriction can be added to a Security Profile which is assigned to a User.
When a user performs a Refund, if there is a Refund Limit Restriction for their Security Profile that has been reached, a warning message will appear requesting authority from a user who does have the authority to perform a refund.
All Refunds and Refund Limit Overrides are recorded in the Reservation and Financial Audit Trails.

Setup
To set a Refund Limit
- Go to Setup > Users > Security Profiles > Edit a Profile
- On the Security Profile Tab,
- Enter a Refund Limit.
Please note that a Refund Limit of 0.00 will allow Unlimited Refunds. - Save/Exit
User Experience
When a user performs a Refund that exceeds their allowable limit, they will be presented with this message.
Any user with a Higher or No Limit can enter their Username and Password to approve the Refund.
Once approved, the override approval is recorded in the Reservation Audit Trail.
