Guest System Labels

A Guest Profile is the record of guest information for a person who has booked or stayed at the property. Guest System Labels are customizable fields that can be added to the Guest Profile within RMS. These labels allow you to track and manage specific information about guests that might not be included in the standard guest profile fields. Once enabled in Field Maintenance, Guest System Labels can be used across various features, including Guest Search, Report Writer, and Form Letters.

Field Types

Guest Labels include the following formatting options.

Some interfaces or imports must use specific guest label fields which will be noted during the interface configuration. 

 

Adding Guest Labels

  1. Go to Setup > Property Options > System Labels.
  2. Navigate to the 'Guest' menu.
  3. Enter the Field Label.
    1. Membership Searchable: Select the checkbox 'Membership Searchable'.
    2. If 'Yes/No' Fields are utilized: Select the Default Value after entering the field name.
  4. Select the 'Save/Exit' icon. Guest1.png

 

Enabling Guest Fields

Field Maintenance can be used to determine the display order of fields on the Guest Profile and in the Guest Details section of the Reservation.

  1. Go to Setup > Users > Field Maintenance.
  2. Locate the custom guest field and make Visible.
  3. Review and/or modify the Field Location and verify its placement within the preview section. 
  4. Choose the 'Save/Exit' icon.GuestFM1.png
The new custom field will appear within the Guest Details.
