Overview
Additional Charge Labels are customizable Accounting Labels available within RMS.
Additional Charge Labels can be used to record additional Guests on a Reservation other than Adults, Children or Infants.
Additional Charge Label pricing options can be used to automatically calculate the cost of additional Guests on a Reservation as part of the Rate Calculation within Rate Table setup.

Adding Additional Charge Labels
In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Property Options > Labels.
- Navigate to the 'Accounting' tab.
- Enter the Field Label text.
(Optional) Select the checkbox 'Non Taxable'.
(Optional) Select the checkbox 'Include in Occupancy Count'.- Selecting the option 'Include in Occupancy Count' will include this field within the occupancy count on the reservation.
- Select Save/Exit.
★ Tip: After saving changes to the setup, Users should log out of RMS and then
Log back in to ensure the database updates and reflects the modifications.

Adding Labels to Reservation Screen
Field Maintenance can be used to activate fields to be visible on the reservation screen, and determine the display order.
In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Users > Field Maintenance.
- Locate the custom additional charge field and select to set it as Visible.
- Review and/or modify the Field Location and verify its placement within the preview section.
- Select Save/Exit.
★ Tip: Pricing for the Additional Charge Label can now be configured within the 'Additionals' menu of the Rate Table.
