View guest and owner reservations for your areas, add an owner reservation and manage your upcoming stays on the Reservations page of the Owner Portal.
Overview
This article is intended for Property owners.
The Reservations page in the Owner Portal shows the reservations on each area you own. Use it to see guest stays, check dates that are unavailable and add your own owner reservations. Reservations you add in the portal are created in RMS for the property team at the same time.
The portal works in desktop, tablet and mobile browsers, so you can manage your reservations without downloading an app. This article covers the Calendar and List views, adding an owner reservation, what happens after you save and how to manage existing reservations.
Important! Your access to the Owner Portal may look different once you sign in, as the layout and available features depend on how your Property Manager has configured your account.
Prerequisites
- Your property manager has sent you your property's Owner Portal link.
- You sign in with your email address and Online Password to the Owner Portal Pro.
View Reservations
Select Reservations in the left navigation. The page opens in Calendar view. Switch between Calendar and List at the top left, and use the area selector to move between the areas you own.
The Reservations page shows areas for the property you are signed in to.
If you own areas at more than one property, each property has its own portal link and sign-in.
Calendar view
The calendar shows a month grid with week numbers, previous and next month arrows, a Today button and a Month view control. Use the arrows to move between months.
The legend identifies each type of entry on the calendar:
| Legend item | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Guest reservation | A guest stay booked on your area. |
| Owner reservation | Your own stay on your area. |
| Unavailable | Dates the area cannot be booked, for example maintenance or out-of-order periods set by the property. |
List view
Select List at the top left to see the Reservation list for a selected date range. Use it to review reservations across a date range rather than one month at a time. If there are no reservations in the range, the page shows "No reservations were found in the selected date range."
Add an Owner Reservation
Add an owner reservation when you plan to stay in your own area. You can start from either the Dashboard or the Reservations page.
- Select Add reservation on the Dashboard or the Reservations page.
- Select the Area (the Room type fills automatically from the selected area).
- Select the Arrive and Depart dates.
- Select the number of Adults, Children and Infants.
(Optional) Enter any Notes for your stay.
(Optional) Select the Linen change/clean room. - Select Save.
Please Note! If the dates you select are not available, the portal shows an error and the reservation cannot be saved. Check the calendar for Unavailable dates before choosing your stay.
What Happens After You Save
The reservation appears on the calendar as an Owner reservation and on your Dashboard area card straight away. It is also created in RMS for the property team at the same time.
When it becomes the next upcoming stay on your area, the Dashboard card shows it under "Next up..." with its dates, estimated gross income and guest count.
Owner reservations show an estimated gross income of $0.00 because owner stays do not generate rental income.
If you are on a non-standard contract, for example performance guarantee or pooling, you see a stay-length label instead of income figures: "Long stay" for more than 7 days or "Short stay" for 7 days or fewer.
Manage Existing Reservations
You can open and edit your own upcoming owner reservations.
Guest reservations on your areas are view only. You can see them on the calendar and in the list, but you cannot change them.
