Learn how to create an advanced search template using Report Writer in RMS
Overview
Report Writer is a powerful tool that allows you to extract and transform data from your property's RMS database into fully customised reports.
By building search templates using a broad range of RMS fields, you can filter and export only the data that’s relevant to your needs. For more precise results, advanced search templates can be used to further refine the data returned in a Report Writer search before exporting.

Steps
In the RMS Side Menu, go to Utilities > Report Writer.
- Enter a Template Name.
- Select a Property.
- Choose a From Category.
- Pick a Field.
- Select & Enter the Field Criteria.
- Click Add This Statement.
- Decide on a Range Boundary.
- Repeat Steps 4-7 until the statement is complete.
- Select Save.
- Click Show Matches.
Visual Guide
