How to void multiple transactions from the same account in RMS.

Overview

Transactions may need to be voided from an account if amounts are incorrect or reservation details change.

The Void Multiple Transactions feature enables Users to select and void multiple charges at once, improving efficiency and saving time.

Users with the appropriate Security Profile permissions can perform the voids, and can select a Reason if configured in the database.

The Void Reasons Report can be used to identify patterns and track the common causes for voids.

Voids can also be reported on by using the Audit Trail Report.

Guide

Go to the Account in RMS.

1. Select 'Corrections'.
2. Choose 'Void Multiple Charges'.
   
    
3. Select Charges to void.
4. Select the Reason.
5. Select 'Confirm'.
