How to Void a Charge Transfer in RMS
Overview
A Charge Transfer in RMS is an account action that allows selected charges to be moved from one account to another (e.g., from a Guest Account to a Company or Reservation Account).
Occasionally, it may be necessary to Void a Charge Transfer to correct an error or adjust billing responsibility.

⚠ Important: Voiding a transfer does not restore the original account balance. If you need to return the charge to the original account, you should use a Charge Transfer instead of a Void.
Guide
Open the Account in RMS.
- Highlight the Transferred Charge.
- Navigate to the Corrections menu.

Select Void Charge.
- Choose the Void Reason.
- Click Void Transaction.
✎ Please Note: After the void is processed, the charge will no longer appear on the account.
