How to setup Inventory Grouping and Inventory Items, that can be assigned to Areas in RMS.
Overview
An Inventory Item refers to an appliance, piece of furniture, or other asset that can be recorded against a specific Area within a Property.
An Inventory Grouping allows you to organize related inventory items into bundles, making maintenance and reporting more efficient.

Grouping Setup
In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Lookup Tables > Grouping.
- Select 'Add'.
- Select the 'Heading For'.
- Enter the Heading Description.
- Select 'Save\Exit'.
Inventory Item Setup
In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Lookup Tables > Inventory Item.
- Select 'Add'.
- Enter the Inventory Item.
- Select an Inventory Grouping.
- Select 'Save/Exit'.
