Instructions for assigning Add Ons to a specific Area so they can be booked.
Overview
Add Ons can be used to manage the availability of optional extras such as Rollaway beds, Cots, and Carparks.
Add Ons are setup as a Category Class.
An Add On can be assigned to a specific Area, and will automatically apply to new reservations made in this Area.
If the Add On is not already booked as per the specific area setup, it will be available to assign to reservations in other Areas.
When assigning an Add On to a reservation, options include Appear on Housekeepers Report and Charges Required Daily.
Availability can be viewed on the Add Ons Chart.
Several reports can be used for Add Ons, including the Add On Reservation Report and the Sundry Usage Report.
Guide
In the side menu of RMS, navigate to Setup > Category/Area.
- Select Edit on an existing Category.
- Select the Area tab.
- Select the required Area.
- Click Edit.
- Select the Add Ons tab.
- Click Add.
- Select the Add On Type.
- Select the Add On.
- Optional setup items:
Select a Sundry Charge
Enter an Amount
Select to Appear on Housekeeper Report
Set Charges Required Daily & options
- Optional setup items:
- Select Save/Exit.
Repeat the steps for any Areas where Add Ons need to be applied.
