Housekeepers report

The Housekeepers Report is an interactive daily report that lists every Housekeeping Task scheduled for a selected date, with options to group by Housekeeper, include Maintenance and customise the columns shown.

 

Overview

The Housekeepers Report is usually run each morning to give the Housekeepers an overview of their tasks for the day. Each row shows a Housekeeping Task assigned to a specific Area for the chosen date, including details such as the Guest Name, departure date, Task, Task Status, allocated time, and any Notes.

Properties can utilise the Housekeeping Roster to allocate tasks to Housekeepers, which will then reflect on the Housekeepers Report.

Adhoc Housekeeping Tasks will appear on the report, but they need to be assigned to a Housekeeper through the Housekeeping Roster.

Report Options

The report includes the following Build options:

Report Option Description
Date Single date the Housekeeping Tasks are listed for.
Category Filter the report to one or more Categories. Defaults to All Selected.
Housekeeping Task Filter the report to one or more Housekeeping Tasks. Defaults to All Selected.
Group By Choose how rows are grouped on the report. Options: No Grouping, No Grouping Show Housekeeper, Group Heading, Category, Housekeepers, Task.
Report Type The Detailed Report includes Bed Configuration and& Linen breakdown for each Housekeeping Task.
Interconnecting Select if the Housekeeping Tasks should show as the Interconnecting Master Only, the Physical Areas that make up the Interconnecting Master or both.
Include All Areas All Areas including those without any Housekeeping Tasks for the selected date will be displayed on the report.
Group by Properties For Enterprise databases generating the report for multiple properties, groups Housekeeping Tasks by individual Property before applying the selected Group By.
Exclude Time Allocation Removes the Housekeeping Task Time Allocation from the report.
Include Maintenance Areas with an active Maintenance Reservation will be included on the report with the Maintenance Notes displayed in the 'Notes' column.
Include Owner Occupied Status Includes Areas that are Owner Occupied on the selected date.
Remove Guest Names Guest Names will be removed from the report.
Show Area Description in Notes The Area Long Description will be displayed in the Notes column.
Show Key 1 in Notes Areas with information saved in the Key 1 field will have this information displayed in the Notes column.
Replace Task Status with Next Reservation Arrive Date The Task Status column will be replaced by the Next Arrive Date column.
Replace Name with Rate Type The Guest Name will be replaced with the Rate Type.
★ Tip: The column 'Time Spent' will display the total time the Housekeeper took to mark the Housekeeping Task as Complete in the Staff Portal. 

 

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Reports > Daily > Housekeepers.

  1. Select the Date.
  2. Select the Category.
  3. Select the Group By.
  4. Select the Report Type.
    (Optional) Select More Options for additional report selections.
  5. Select Build.

★ Tip: Use the Group By 'Housekeepers' option to create a printable to-do list for individual Housekeepers that have been allocated tasks on the Housekeeping Roster.

 

Report Columns

The Housekeepers Report opens in a new tab and lists each Housekeeping Task for the selected date. The Detailed Report displays the following columns:

Column Description
Category Category the Area belongs to.
Area Area the Housekeeping Task is allocated to.
Res No Reservation number linked to the Housekeeping Task. Click the number to open the Reservation in a new tab.
Name Guest Name on the Reservation, prefixed with movement indicators (for example, '(Out)' for a departing Guest).
Loyalty Membership Type Loyalty Membership Type recorded against the Guest, where applicable.
People Number of Adults and Children on the Reservation.
Depart Depart date of the Reservation.
Task Housekeeping Task allocated to the Area for the selected date.
Task Status Current status of the Housekeeping Task (for example, Incomplete, Complete).
Bed Config Bed Configuration for the Area.
Notes Notes against the Reservation, Maintenance, Area or Key 1, depending on the Build options selected.
Linen Linen requirements for the Housekeeping Task.
Time Req Time allocated to complete the Housekeeping Task, in minutes.
Time Spent Total time the Housekeeper took to mark the Task as Complete in the Staff Portal.

 

 

★ Tip: Select the Star favourite icon on an report favourite icon to mark this Report as a Favourite Report for quick access via the Favourite Reports Menu.
