Overview

The Meter Read Sequence determines the display of Areas on the Meter Reading List when performing a meter read. This article contains the setup steps to order the areas to display in the Meter Reading List in RMS.

Information

• The Meter Read Sequence determines the display order of Areas on the Meter Reading List when performing a Meter Read.
• Meter Processing is a utility to enter meter reads and apply the related charges to the Reservation Accounts.
• Utility Meters enable users to record meter reads and charge for utilities in an Area.
• Meters can be setup with individual utility accounts for Electricity, Gas, or Water, with the option to create meter reading charges on the Accommodation Account.
• Meter Reads can be processed on mobile, tablet, or desktop, including printing or emailing Utility Statements.

Setup

1. Go to Setup > Meters > Utility Type.
2. Select a Property (Optional).
3. Navigate to the Reading Sequence section.
4. Select an Area.
5. Select the or to change the Area Position.
6. Select Save.
