This article describes the UAE Govt Export, which generates a guest data file for submission to UAE government authorities.
Overview
The UAE Govt Export report is designed for the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) in the UAE. It is a mandatory government compliance requirement — properties must submit export files (check-in, check-out, forecast, reservation, occupancy summary, and revenue data) to the DCT.
The UAE Govt Export produces a data file containing guest information from reservations on a selected date.
The file can be created as a direct download or transmitted via FTP to the relevant authority.
Use Cases
- Daily compliance reporting - Run the Daily Export each day to generate a guest data file covering arrivals and in-house guests, meeting the government's daily submission requirement.
- Hourly reporting - Select the Hourly Export type for properties required to submit guest data more frequently throughout the day.
- Multi-property operations - On databases with multiple properties, select the relevant property before exporting to produce a file scoped to that property only.
- Automated submission via FTP - Use the Send via FTP option to transmit the file directly to the government system without manual download and upload steps.
How to Access
